Nigel Knight
Nigel founded Toffee AI and does the work himself. His background is in technology, data protection and operational risk.
He has been the Data Protection Officer of a UK plc, responsible for how the company handled personal data. He works as an operational resilience consultant to FCA-regulated financial services firms, helping them identify their important business services, set impact tolerances and test how they would cope with severe disruption.
Over his career he has helped businesses through the arrival of the web, the move to the cloud and the web3 experiments. AI is the latest of those changes. It can give a small firm a real edge, and it needs the same care about data, security and dependence on suppliers as the ones before it.
Outside work, Nigel coaches junior hockey at Southgate Hockey Club.
