Running our own finance admin on AI

Toffee AI is a small limited company with the same admin as any other: supplier invoices, VAT records, payroll and payments to HMRC. We run that admin with AI workflows, with Nigel reviewing and approving each step.

The AI found each invoice in email, saved it to the right folder in cloud storage and logged the details in a spreadsheet ready for the VAT return. The run also showed where the real work lies: preparing the environment, batching the job sensibly and handling the approval prompts. That set-up is what we do for clients.

A skills tool for a junior hockey section

Southgate's junior section relies on volunteer coaches. We're building a simple web tool, pro bono, to help coaches record and track players' skills across the season without extra paperwork. The full write-up will follow once it's in use.
